Since this "coat" is unlined, I am using it as a cardigan style wrap. It is ideal for me because we get some single digit and negative temperatures here and I am always cold in the Winter. With this being a wool blend all I need is a light long sleeved shirt underneath and I am warm all day. It is a little scratchy on me but not as bad as a 100% wool sweater would be. All I need to do is wear a shirt with a collar or a higher/mock neck underneath. I love it so much that I have already bought another color and I plan to add more to my wardrobe. It is very stylish and the belted tie works with many different figures.I also think you should order your normal size. I wear a medium sized shirt. I typically purchase at least a large in sweaters because I layer (a lot) underneath. I have this Tahari jacket in large and extra large but I could wear just a medium as I do not need my normal army of layers.
