The colors in the rainbow set are vibrant, cute for my daughters shoes and seem very thick and durable. I ordered them in the little kid size and the length fit my daughters (girls shoe size 11 1/2) shoes fine. However, they are extremely thick at the ends which I thought that's how they were supposed to be until the ones i ordered for my husband and son came in (different company) and they were much thinner on the ends (the part that goes through the shoelace hole). Those (for husband and son) were much thinner and still difficult to put through the holes so these were that much harder.These rainbow ones being so thick they really hurt my fingers. To put them in and to take them out to have to readjust them really hurt my fingers for quite a few minutes after installation. However, they seem very strong, they don't flex easily which makes the shoes hard to put on but keeps them on without worrying that the shoes will slip off.She has only worn them for about a week and they still look like new and are still on the rigid side.Shipping time came earlier than promised so that's another plus. All in all, these seem like good sturdy "laces"These are great on all my kids' shoes. It makes it so much easier for the littler kids when they cannot tie or have trouble keeping them tied.EDIT: I have been contacted by the company after writing my review. They are willing to do what they can to make me a satisfied customer. I think it's fair to say that it's possible a larger size (mens or youth) may have worked better in my 10yo's shoe. Since I didn't realize at the time of purchase that there were multiple sizes, I am changing my 3-star review to 4 stars.***The product itself seems OK and durable, but they were really difficult to get in my son's shoes, and then after all my effort of forcing them into his shoelace holes, he found it very difficult to get his shoes on because they were so tight, so he wouldn't wear the shoes. The red is also a bit "off" - too bright, not a true red. Just didn't work for us.Looks clean with Adidas and works great. I use these shoes mostly for walking the dog. I think they look great for any age, not just little kids. I wear women’s 8 and I believe I got the “teens” size. Used the middle size laces. They were a little difficult to insert into the eyelets just a heads up.First off, I want to say that I received these within 31 hours after ordering them, on a weekend- So I’m very impressed with their shipping speed.Initially, the first two eyelets on my athletic shoe felt impossible to thread through; but once I got the hang of it, it was no big deal. I will note that it will take you about 30 minutes to thread these through both shoes, but they are worth it. I think the quality is good for the price, and they will be easy to clean. Crisscrossing them, made my shoes a little tighter, for running in. These definitely free up a few minutes, each day; and no more folding/tucking in dangling shoelaces. I will be ordering more for my husband and kids, who are also impressed with them.I AM REALLY IMPRESSED. Not only did the shipping for these was Ultra fast, but they were easy to put on my 5yr old (boy) shoes too. My child is EXTREMELY active and rough - So he will surely put this product to the test. We shall see if they survive. I am really hopeful that they do, B/c it definitely eliminates the prob of shoelaces that keep coming untied, -- which was a constant problem at school and with the grandparents.** I will update this review once we have had a couple of weeks wear out of them.I got these for my son so he would stop asking me to tie his shoes. They were very hard to get in the eye holes. My fingers were sore after one shoe, however I did complete the other shoe. One of the “laces” came out once when he was walking is red clay/mud. Otherwise these have held up really well.This product is a game changer if you hate tying your shoes !Buy these ! I was a bit skeptical that these would be “too tight” on the foot once installed but they are not ! They offer just the right hug over the foot and remain the same tension all day. I am really exited about it his purchase and want to buy more for my other lace up shoes :)I bought these in child's size for my 8yr old who constantly leaves her laces done up and slips her trainers on and off, damaging the backs of the shoes - lazy! The idea seems great but actually using them is a little flawed. They were a nightmare to insert into the eyelets on a pair of Adidas, many of the ends simply snapped off whilst I was trying to force them through. A little insertion tool would be very handy - I ended up using a blunt pair of tweezers to try and widen the eyelets and then to prod the ends through, all in all it took me around 30-40 minutes to complete a pair. My daughter loved them. But after a few weeks of wearing we have noticed she has pressure areas on her feet where the ends of the laces are rubbing on her skin so we have now removed them and gone back to her original laces. On a plus point, the colour choices are fab, we had a pack of four each being different and if they had been more comfortable to wear they would have been a great way to change the appearance of a white pair of trainers.I bought these for my son who can’t yet tie laces but doesn’t like Velcro on his shoes. They were a struggle to fit. It took me ages before I realised there was a technique to it. The first time my son wore them, unfortunately he found them really uncomfortable. The little rubber anchor that sits inside the shoe was pressing into his foot because of the tightness of the bands. We took the top one off hoping it would loosen the shoe slightly but, alas (as Boris would say) it didn’t. It’s a great idea and I’m disappointed it didn’t work for us.Obviously I read other reviews about the laces being too tight but to be honest I thought it couldn’t apply to me as my child is 5 yo and wearing a size 11 (infant)... how wrong I was!! It was a struggle to put them on the P-E shoes (didn’t use 2 of the smallest ones) but I insisted on my child putting them one hoping they will stretch out after a few hours. IBut instead, I ended with my little one having deep marks on the foot after the school day. It was totally my fault but for those wanting to buy these shoes laces. Please don’t take the chance, if you think the laces are too tight, they probably are!!!Not a bad idea, child complained his shoelaces got undone all the time so got these to turn trainers into slip-ons. We had to put them other way around though so the knots are on top and not under otherwise you can really feel them pushing on your skin. This way it works fine for my boy.These were perfect for turning young sons shoes from lace ups to slip on. Sturdy and hard wearing, haven’t ‘popped’ out or eye holes. Such a great idea. Will definitely recommend them to others if wanting to get rid of laces
